About
A specialized design practice, where technology and design take root.
The practice was formed around a straightforward observation: on well-designed projects, technology decisions are frequently made too late and by too many parties. Lighting control, network infrastructure, audio, video, and shading each carry architectural consequences—ceiling coordination, back-box locations, panel space, sightlines, acoustics—that are difficult to resolve once construction is underway.
Our background spans lighting and control system design, Lutron HomeWorks programming architecture, residential and light-commercial AV engineering, and network infrastructure. That combination allows a single consultant to hold the whole technical picture and speak fluently with every trade involved.
We work quietly. Client work is confidential unless permission is granted, and we are comfortable operating within the discretion that high-end projects require.

How we engage.
Full design
Concept through construction administration across all technology disciplines, coordinated with the design team.
Discipline-specific
Lighting, Lutron control, network, or AV design engaged individually where the rest is already resolved.
Peer review
Independent review of an existing proposal, scope, or system design before commitments are made.
Ongoing consultation
Advisory support for developers, integrators, and design firms across multiple projects.
We design the technology behind exceptional spaces.
Grove can be engaged independently for design, engineering, documentation, and consulting—Let us know when you're ready!
